European Pharmacopoeia Reagent Coloration – Primary Solution Blue

This CRM is intended for the examination of the degree of colouration of liquids related to Ph. Eur. 2.2.2, and British
Pharmacopoeia 2.2.2.

Certification

This CRM has been manufactured and tested in accordance with Ph. Eur. 2.2.2 and British Pharmacopoeia 2.2.2 using a
sample of this lot taken at the time of manufacture.

Metrological Traceability:

Measurements are derived from and traceable to the SI system of units through the use of balances calibrated against NPL’s
national standard for mass. The balances used in this process are calibrated on a regular basis with the calibration being
traceable to National Institute Standards and Technology (NIST) and other recognised national standards laboratories. This
certificate provides traceability of measurement to recognised national standards, and to units of measurement recognised at
National Institute Standards and Technology (NIST) and other recognised national standards laboratories
All temperature measurements are traceable to the International Temperature Scale 1990 and were made using
thermometers with calibrations traceable to the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), the National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST), or other recognised national standards laboratories
Where required Class A laboratory glassware is used.

Homogeneity & Stability:

This product has been produced according to in-house procedures that meet the requirements of ISO 17025 and ISO 17034,
and its homogeneity is guaranteed to be fit for purpose when used with a sample size appropriate for the intended
measurement method.

Storage & Instructions for handling and use:

The shelf life of this product is guaranteed until the expiry date, provided the bottle is unopened and stored upright between 5
°C to 30 °C. The guarantee is void if the bottle seal is broken. Always keep container sealed when not in use. Follow good
hygiene practice. Mix well before use by inversion or gentle shaking. Do not pipette directly from container.
